Since the day we bought our house, I've wanted to paint the trim red.
Especially these shutters.
It's almost as if the house told me it was supposed to have trim that color.
With the new roof and paint, the house looks happy and complete just in time for spring.
The leaves are filling the branches
and casting thicker shadows on the weeds and the giant bald spot in the front yard.
The mulberry trees are in full bloom, sending pollen steaming through our home.
I'd complain (more and louder), but in about three days it'll be a miracle the dead, dry yard doesn't spontaneously combust in the heat.
So here's to enjoying yard work and allergies before going into hibernation for the summer.

Wow the house looks fabulous that color. Enjoy the spring. Things are blooming here, but doesn't feel very springy when snow is on the hills nearby and we continue to get pummled by rain.
Don't wish too hard for spring - you live in the path of the pollen tree of doom!
