For a knitter, rainy days are a lovely excuse to park one's behind firmly on the couch to work on destashing a bit while reducing the queue on Ravelry and Netflix. Rainy days are often productive.
But it seems that rain over an entire weekend is more than Sean and Jack could handle.
Jack, who wants nothing more than to have someone pet him 24/7, was a complete noodge this weekend.

| Sweet puppy face in your lap. How can you say no? |
If this weren't so cute, it would have been insufferable.
I was knitting, so I wouldn't always give in, so he would go to Sean, who Jack knows is a sucker for puppy cuteness. Once Sean stopped petting him, he would come back to me. Back and forth. Back and forth
I'm glad we have concrete floors - he would have worn a path on a carpet with all his attention-seeking efforts this weekend.
If no one would pet him, he would see if anyone was interested in playing a bit of fetch.
This would lead to several minutes of Bozo the Dog antics - Jack running around the house squeaking his chew toy.

Watching TV and napping was acceptable for a day and a half and then Sean lost it.
By the end of Saturday night, Sean was playing hide-and-go-seek with Jack.
If this rain doesn't stop soon, I don't know what these two are going to do.

Things are getting desperate over here.

Allie, I can only imagine what will happen after you go to work today. It will be me and Jack in an empty house on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I take no responsibility for what may happen.
I love you.
This is so cute! You Arizonians need to learn to tough it out and go out regardless of the rain. If you must get the umbrella out and make a day of it.
Aawww Jack! How can you possible resist that face?
