Look what I have created!

Easy to put together, a serious time investment, but one excellent loaf-like thing of bread.

First rise

After "kneading"

Second rise

Ready for oven (finally)
The crust made a wonderful cracking sound as we cut off the first hunk of warm, light and airy bread.

Delicious
If you have about 24 hours, I highly recommend trying this recipe.

This bread was some serious bread - definitely your best so far - the crust was perfect, and the inside was just right. This reminded me of hand made bread that you would get in the best bakery/ deli in the older neighborhoods of New York - and not the Long Island crap, either, real down home from a 200 year old bakery type of bread. Very well done, DiVincenzo - Bon Appetit would be proud!

(Don't forget; Post this recipe and the results on Allrecipes.com!)
