The bread experiment

After reading about my bread-making misadventures, Penny sent me a link to a New York Times article featuring a baker's recipe for No-Knead Bread.
The baker calls this "minimalist bread making" so simple "a 4-year-old could master it."
Sounds good. This could be a total success or a completely humiliating failure - I mean if a 4-year-old can do this and yet I can't, what will Bon Apetit think of me? The stakes are high.
So far this is the easiest bread-making experience ever.

Combine flour, dry instant yeast, salt and water.

Cover and let rise for 20 hours. That's right, 20.
Meet you back here sometime tomorrow afternoon when I pour this mound of gooey "bread dough" out onto towels for it's second rise.
